Southern Shores Moving is a locally-owned moving company based in Mobile, Alabama, serving Mobile and Baldwin counties. We employ and support local college students — vetted and thoroughly trained before they ever touch a customer’s belongings. Customers get the price we quoted, clear communication from first call to last box, and crews that show up on time and do the work right.
Why We Started
Moving in Mobile and Baldwin County had two kinds of companies: national chains running pricing through a call center three states away, and a handful of local outfits where a “free quote” could double on move day and “arrival between 8 and noon” meant the truck might roll up at 3.
We figured a moving company built specifically for this corner of the Gulf Coast — staffed by people who actually live here, priced honestly, and run by someone who picks up the phone — would do better than that. So that’s what we built.
